Cadance ("we", "us") operates cadance.co and the Cadance application. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
We build tools for independent artists. We collect only what we need to run the service, improve it, and communicate with you.
Account information you provide: name, email address, artist or project name, and billing details when you subscribe.
Content you upload or create in Cadance: audio files, metadata, fan records, email drafts, calendar events, and other material you choose to store in the product.
Usage data: how you interact with the app (features used, errors, performance) so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
Device and log data: browser type, IP address, timestamps, and similar technical signals required for security and reliability.
Waitlist and marketing sign-ups: email address and any optional fields you submit on our public site.
To provide, maintain, and secure the Cadance service.
To process subscriptions and send transactional messages (receipts, account notices, security alerts).
To respond when you contact us.
To analyse aggregated, de-identified usage so we can improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers who help us run Cadance (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics). They process data only on our instructions and under contractual obligations.
When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with notice where the law requires it.
We do not share your fan lists or uploaded audio with advertisers.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or security reasons.
Backups may persist for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message.
Our marketing site may use essential cookies for security and session management. The Cadance app uses similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies on cadance.co.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.
Cadance is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe we have done so inadvertently.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
