The rules for using Cadance — accounts, billing, content, and liability.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cadance, including cadance.co and the Cadance application (the "Service"), operated by Cadance ("we", "us").
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Cadance is an operating system for independent artists: pages, mail, fans, tracks, catalogue, voice notes, calendar, and planner in one subscription.
Features may change as we ship improvements. Early access may include features that are still in development; we will use reasonable care to avoid data loss.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Cadance. If you use the Service on behalf of a label or company, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually at the price shown at checkout in USD, GBP, or EUR. Founding pricing, where offered, applies for the life of your account as described at signup.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel from account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Refunds are handled as stated at purchase and required by applicable consumer law. Contact hello@cadance.co for billing questions.
You may not use Cadance to violate law, infringe others' rights, send spam, distribute malware, or attempt to access systems or data without authorisation.
You may not scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as we expressly permit in writing.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.
You retain ownership of music, audio, text, fan data, and other material you upload ("Your Content").
You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — including backups, transcoding, and sending emails you authorise.
You confirm you have the rights needed for Your Content and that it does not violate third-party rights or law.
Cadance, our logos, product design, and software are our property or our licensors'. These Terms do not grant you rights to our brand or code except as needed to use the Service.
The Service may connect to third-party platforms (streaming services, calendars, payment processors). Their terms apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Cadance is a tool for your music career; we do not guarantee commercial outcomes, chart performance, or revenue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (or equivalent in your billing currency).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
Sections that by nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, where the law allows.
